Postpartum Hair Loss: Why It Happens and How Botanical Scalp Care Supports Recovery

The Biology of Postpartum Shedding
During pregnancy, elevated estrogen extends the anagen (growth) phase of the hair cycle — hair appears thicker and fuller than usual. After delivery, estrogen levels drop rapidly. Nutrition Comes First
Postpartum bodies are depleted. Breastfeeding increases nutritional demands further.
